About the role:

Hudson Trade centre Mitre 10 Gosford are currently seeking an outgoing and knowledgeable individual to join their Trade yard team. The is a Sales / Admin position with a wide range of tasks including but not limited to; working in the trade yard, customer service and sales, general admin duties, pick pack orders, truck loading & unloading and stock replenishment.

The successful candidate will be offered a full time position working a Monday to Friday roster, providing excellent customer service, must be motivated, and be relied upon to work in an team and an unsupervised environment.

 

What you will be doing:

• General admin duties
• Serving customers in the trade yard- helping them with their orders, and providing them with fast, efficient service
• Loading & unloading of trucks
• Stock control ensuring all deliveries are accurate and checked as per company policy
• Ensuring the health and safety of all fellow staff, customers and contractors within their department
• Provide accurate deliveries on time, with a high focus on customer service
• Physical work with some heavy lifting requird
• Picking orders to be sent out on delivery trucks
• Putting away stock, mainly timber and associated products
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, both within a team and individually
• A focus on exceptional customer service and safety

 

What you will bring:

 

• A valid Drivers Licence - a must
• Current LF Forklift licence definitely an advantage
• Demonstrate a strong customer focus
• Timber & hardware product knowledge advantageous
• Demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and unsupervised
• Work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prioritise workload to effectively meet deadlines
• Must be physically fit and able to be on your feet all day
• An eye for detail and a sense of urgency
• Ability to be available for work across the 5 days of the week
