Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst partners with Relationship Executives to originate, structure, and execute new opportunities for diversified and property clients. They are responsible for delivering high-quality credit submissions, financial modelling, and monitoring portfolio performance.

Requirements

Candidates need strong credit writing and financial analysis skills, specifically with experience in commercial banking and property lending. A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Business, or Finance is required.

Full job description

  • You are ambitious — and ready to take your banking career to the next level
  • We value career progression — this role is a strong pathway into a future Relationship Executive position
  • Based in our Gosford business banking centre on the Central Coast

See yourself in our team.
Our Regional and Agribusiness Banking (RAB) team is passionately committed to supporting businesses across Australia and helping to build and enhance the financial wellbeing of our regional communities. With over 70 centres nationwide, we work closely with a diverse range of business customers — and we're proud to be part of their growth stories.

On the Central Coast, you'll join a high-performing, collaborative Diversified & Property team with deep sector expertise, managing a diverse portfolio across Diversified commercial customers and real estate investment, development and construction lending. We combine deep sector expertise with strong credit capability to deliver innovative solutions that create real value for our clients.

This role is based in Gosford NSW.

Do work that matters.

As a Senior Analyst, you'll play a critical role partnering with Relationship Executives to originate, structure and execute new opportunities, while actively managing a number of sophisticated property and diversified clients.

Leveraging your credit expertise, you'll deliver high-quality credit applications and reviews — supporting well-informed lending decisions and strong client outcomes. You'll work closely with Risk and internal stakeholders to ensure policy alignment while enabling efficient deal execution and speed to market.

You'll also contribute to the development of Analysts within the team, helping build capability and maintain high standards across service delivery — all while gaining exposure to large, diversified and property clients and working alongside some of the most skilled Bankers in the region and broader Northern NSW business.

More specifically, you will;

  • Deliver high-quality credit submissions for new-to-bank and existing clients
  • Provide robust financial modelling and credit analysis, with strong attention to detail to inform lending decisions
  • Support deal execution, due diligence and covenant monitoring
  • Analyse and report on portfolio performance, providing credit insights, managing annual reviews and credit extensions
  • Partner with Relationship Executives to deepen client understanding and engage the Group's range of products and services
  • Leverage market research and internal resources to assess opportunities and provide data-driven insights that enable confident decision-making

What we're looking for.

We're a high-performing, customer-focused team and we're looking for a strong Senior Analyst who is self-driven, collaborative and highly adaptable.

Key capabilities and experience we'd love to see:

  • Strong credit writing capability, with the ability to clearly articulate complex transactions and provide actionable recommendations
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, lending structures and security types — ideally with exposure to property lending
  • Advanced financial analysis and modelling skills, with high proficiency in Excel
  • Experience in Commercial or Business Banking, ideally with exposure to 'new to bank' transactional and credit risk work
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and key stakeholders
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, Business/Finance or a related discipline

Sound like your next move?
