Lead audits of moderate to high risk to ensure financial accuracy and the adequacy of internal controls. Identify process improvement opportunities and communicate findings to management through written and oral reports.
Requires a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and professional experience in internal or external auditing. Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.

As an Internal Auditor Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world.
Conducting and leading audits of moderate to high risk and complexity to ensure the accuracy of financial statements, adequacy of operational and internal controls, and identification of improvement opportunities.
Participating in audit scoping and risk assessment.
Analyzing data and selecting samples for testing processes to identify control gaps and areas of potential operational improvement.
Documenting and summarizing audit findings and developing recommendations for process improvement.
Communicating audit findings both orally and in written form to management.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting related areas.
Experience as an Internal or External Auditor.
Strong experience in Finance and/or Accounting areas.
Experience performing audit testing, risk mapping, control assessments, and report preparation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Advanced English and Spanish level (reading, speaking, listening and writing).
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience working as an Auditor in a Big 4 company.
Professional accounting certifications including the CIA, CPA or CMA.
Working knowledge of statistical sampling methodologies.
Experience working with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel for data analysis).
This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M plant in Sumaré.
Travel: May include up to 20% domestic/international.
