The Set-Up Technician is responsible for the set-up, start-up, and maintenance of production machinery to ensure operational readiness for shifts. They also troubleshoot quality issues, assist engineers with process improvements, and provide technical training to production staff.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least one year of experience as a machine operator, preferably within silicone molding or medical component manufacturing. Knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 14971 standards is required.
The primary responsibilities of the Set-Up Technician are to set-up and start-up various machines on the production floor and ensure they are in proper working order for the beginning of the production shift. This position will also perform maintenance tasks, troubleshoot, provide staff training, among other tasks. The Set-Up Technician ensures ProMed’s brand, philosophy, systems, policies, and procedures are properly implemented and observed.
