Radio Frequency Solutions (RFS), a mission area within Advanced Products & Solutions (APS), is seeking a Senior Analyst, Program Cost Controls to support the Surveillance and Tactical Advanced Radar Solutions (STARS) team. This position supports a portfolio within the MSR product line consisting of production and spare programs with multiple end users.
The role is responsible for financial forecasting and reporting, variance analysis, Estimates at Completion (EACs), Latest Revised Estimates (LREs), proposal support, and cash management. The position supports a fully onsite team by providing financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations to program leadership.
What You Will Do
- Lead and support the monthly financial planning, forecasting, and close process (RPLAN), ensuring alignment with program execution.
- Develop Quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs) and monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LREs) and provide financial analysis to program leadership.
- Communicate forecast commitments, risks, opportunities, and financial performance to program teams and leadership.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly variance analyses and identify drivers impacting program performance.
- Perform cost, schedule, and financial reporting activities, including funding analysis, tracking, forecasting, and reporting using enterprise tools and processes.
- Review and validate EAC inputs, executive presentations, and proposal materials for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform PRISM and material financial analysis, including MRP updates, grouping, pegging, distribution impacts, and material cost analysis.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree and less than 2 years of applicable experience.
- Experience partnering with Contracts, Operations, Engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience analyzing financial and operational data to assess program or portfolio performance and identify risks and opportunities.
- Experience supporting cost, schedule, and technical performance through financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis), PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience preparing reports, presentations, and analyses for management and leadership.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for U.S. Government security clearance access.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with SAP, APEX EV, Business Warehouse (BW), or comparable enterprise financial systems.
- Experience within the Government Contracting or Defense industry.
- Knowledge of government accounting standards and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements.
- Experience analyzing large and complex datasets to identify trends, variances, and financial impacts.
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) experience, including forecasting, variance analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Experience preparing and presenting reports, briefings, and financial summaries to leadership and external stakeholders.

Onsite: Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
