The Project Engineer is responsible for generating assembly and test procedures, assembling and testing hardware, and troubleshooting systems for the UPRITE project. They will coordinate with test facilities, manage certification products, and handle flight logistics for launch preparation.
Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of related experience, specifically with NASA flight hardware testing and certification. Candidates must be proficient in systems engineering principles and capable of working in a team environment with limited supervision.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer - UPRITE to join the JETSII Contract with Nexus, a teammate company.

Essential Functions
Work Environment
Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).
Equipment and Machines
Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
Attendance
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
