The Material Handler is responsible for picking orders, managing inventory transactions, and supporting production assembly in the storeroom. They must ensure timely order fulfillment while adhering to safety, quality, and 5S organizational standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of experience in manufacturing, distribution, or the military. Applicants must reside within a 50-mile radius of the El Paso, TX facility and be able to obtain a forklift certification.

The hourly rate for this position is $17.88 per hour, plus $1 per hour shift differential. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive plan.
Shift: 4:00pm-12:45am

The Material Handler will provide manufacturing expertise and support in the Storeroom and production area including, but not limited to, allocation of materials, planning, scheduling, verifying, receiving, and shipping with the overall goal of timely order fulfillment and adherence to Eaton’s quality standards.
In this function you will:
• Responsible for picking multiple orders for production assembly
• Resolve warehouse challenges with attention to detail
• Responsible for performing accurate inventory transactions
• Comply with all safety and industrial hygiene requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner. Understand and meet all departmental safety objectives and goals
• Support assigned work-area clean and organized per 5S standards.
• Closely follow established procedures for completing assigned function and perform special assignments and/or projects as assigned.
• Executing warehouse transactions through AS400 and use various complex business systems
• Ability to obtain a forklift certification through workplace training
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 months manufacturing, distribution, or military experience
