Provide DFM guidance for high-volume thermoplastic injection molding components and manage relationships with external tooling and molding suppliers. Develop quality control plans, mold capacity planning, and resolve technical challenges within cross-functional project teams.
Requires a four-year degree in Mechanical or Plastics Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in injection molding. Proficiency in 3D modeling (PTC Creo) and knowledge of thermoplastic materials and processing is essential.
This role is responsible for providing DFM guidance to R&D and Manufacturing engineers for high-volume thermoplastic injection molding components. The role also represents HP with worldwide external tooling and molding suppliers to develop injection mold tooling and processes, metrology strategies, and quality control plans. The role involves being able to communicate clearly with suppliers, internal partners, and management of cross-functional teams in a fast-paced new product development environment.

The pay range for this role is $93,400 to $143,800 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
