This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and skilled repairs on complex production equipment and systems. The technician will monitor equipment performance, conduct failure analysis, and implement countermeasures to ensure operational effectiveness.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment. Proficiency in mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) is required.
Scope of Job: This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and skilled repairs on complex production equipment and systems. Follows standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness. Performs equipment failure analysis to complete preventive and unscheduled maintenance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems. Logs equipment modifications and maintenance details in the designated system. Follows all safety procedures. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.
Education: Highschool diploma or GED required.
Experience: Formal training in the following: air conditioning, welding, machining, auto repair, electronics, or industrial mechanics. Additional years of experience may substitute for training. Must have at least 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment. Additional years of experience may substitute for training.
