The Field Service Technician will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues on compactors and related equipment in the field. They are also responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks while maintaining accurate service documentation and ensuring equipment safety.
Candidates should have experience in heavy equipment or industrial machinery repair, including proficiency in hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding. A valid driver's license and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting 50+ lbs and working in confined spaces are required.
Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment is looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our Compactor team.
This is a hands-on role for a technician who enjoys troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment in the field. You’ll work on a variety of compactors and related equipment, putting your experience in hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, welding, and mechanical repair to work every day.
From diagnosing hydraulic and electrical issues to repairing motors and pumps, fabricating chutes, and installing cardboard balers, the work is varied and requires someone who can think through problems and see a job through to completion.
