The Chemical Operator is responsible for the chemical refining of precious metals scrap following standard operating procedures. This includes the safe handling of chemicals, equipment maintenance, and monitoring pollution control equipment for compliance.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for a background in chemical processing. Candidates must have knowledge of safe chemical handling and meet U.S. export compliance eligibility (ITAR/EAR).
Summary: The Chemical Operator is responsible for the proper refining of precious metals.
Responsible for the chemical refining of precious scrap in accordance with all standard operating procedures as directed.
Responsible for the proper care and use of refinery equipment and safe chemical handling.
Must be able to safely receive and store chemicals from chemical deliveries and replenish emptied chemical containers.
Helps to monitor pollution control equipment to assure compliance with air and water discharges.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Chemical processing background preferred.
Knowledge of safe chemical handling and storage.
Pay Range:
$22.00 - $31.00Actual base salary offered varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
