Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a Machining AOS degree or certification. The role requires the ability to obtain a US Department of Defense security clearance and perform physical tasks such as lifting and climbing.
Description
Candidate selected for this position will be a member of the CUBRC Aerosciences Group and will support high-speed wind tunnel testing. Primary responsibilities include operating CNC and manual mills and lathes, with guidance, to fabricate wind tunnel components and models to precise specifications and tolerances. Responsibilities involving both manual and CNC machining will expand as the employee gains experience through hands-on training and demonstrated proficiency.
