We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Foodservice team and lead a high-profile South Queensland portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to manage some of Queensland's most strategically important foodservice customers while leading and developing a small, high-performing team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Foodservice, you will be responsible for delivering sales, revenue and profitability targets across South Queensland through effective management of distributor, wholesaler and key customer relationships. You'll also provide leadership, coaching and development support to two Queensland-based team members.

Your portfolio will include major foodservice customers and distributor partners across Brisbane South, the Gold Coast and regional Queensland, with responsibility for identifying growth opportunities, building strong commercial partnerships and driving sustainable business outcomes. Key customers include organisations such as MOCO, Godden Food Group, Coffee Club and Retail Food Group.

In This Role You Will

• Manage and grow key foodservice, distributor and wholesaler accounts across South Queensland.
• Deliver volume, revenue and gross margin targets while maintaining strong commercial discipline.
• Develop and execute customer and distributor business plans aligned to national strategic priorities.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive category growth with existing and prospective customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments to identify risks and opportunities.
• Manage trade spend and travel budgets effectively.
• Coach, support and develop an Account Manager and Business Development Specialist.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, planning, marketing, customer service and other key stakeholders.

About You

You are a commercially savvy sales professional with a passion for building strong customer relationships and delivering profitable growth. You enjoy working autonomously, thrive in a customer-facing environment and have the leadership capability to develop and inspire others. You're comfortable spending time in market, building customer relationships and travelling throughout your territory to identify growth opportunities and support business success.

You will bring:

• Proven experience in foodservice sales, account management or business development.
• Strong experience managing distributors, wholesalers and key customer relationships.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen, negotiation skills and financial management capability.
• Experience developing customer growth plans and delivering sales targets.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Previous people leadership or coaching experience is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of the foodservice industry, with dairy category experience advantageous.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout South Queensland, including Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Toowoomba and surrounding regional areas, with occasional interstate travel for business planning meetings and team development activities.
