The QC Inspector verifies the conformance of materials, components, and processes to applicable codes and internal quality requirements. They perform dimensional and visual inspections, manage material traceability, and support corrective actions to ensure product integrity.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and relevant inspection experience, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and use precision measurement tools. U.S. citizenship or U.S. person status is required for compliance with 10 CFR Part 810.
The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for performing inspection activities to verify conformance of materials, components, and processes to applicable codes, standards, procurement documents, and internal quality requirements. This role serves as a key function in ensuring dimensional accuracy, material traceability, and compliance with applicable regulatory and quality program requirements, including ASME and NQA-1.
The QC Inspector operates within defined procedures and documented instructions and supports production, engineering, and quality assurance functions to prevent nonconforming conditions and ensure product integrity.
The QC Inspector performs inspection and test activities on safety-related, non-safety related with special treatment, and other designated items in accordance with approved procedures and instructions.
