Position Summary
The Local Delivery Order Puller plays a key role in the timely and accurate pulling of orders in a fast-paced dispatch and warehouse environment. This position supports warehouse efficiency and customer satisfaction through effective product handling and communication.
Key Responsibilities
Efficiently work within the dispatch department to pull and stage orders.
Use warehouse systems and technology to locate and gather product.
Ensure accuracy when pulling products and placing them in designated delivery areas.
Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate order fulfillment.
Liaise with warehouse leadership regarding product availability and storage.
Follow company procedures for product handling to minimize errors and damage.
Operate equipment safely and remain alert at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.
Minimum of one (1) year of warehouse experience preferred.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Certification in forklift or other equipment operation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or picking technology.
Familiarity with order pulling or dispatch processes.
