Lifewise is a national not-for-profit organisation that works interdependently with Airedale Property Trust and Methodist Mission Northern. Across The Three Trusts, we have over 400 employees who provide a broad range of social services in Auckland and Rotorua.
At Lifewise Housing First, we believe lived experience is one of the most powerful tools for change. We are looking for an inspiring Senior Peer Support Worker to walk alongside whānau, champion peer practice, and help people move from homelessness to housing stability and wellbeing.
In this senior role, you will: • Use your lived experience to inspire hope and build trusted relationships. • Mentor and support Peer Support Workers. • Advocate for whānau using a strengths-based, person-led approach. • Help strengthen and grow peer support across our service. • Influence practice and champion the voice of lived experience.
We're Looking for Someone Who: ✔ Has relevant lived experience and can use it purposefully and professionally. ✔ Holds a Peer Support qualification (Level 4+) or equivalent experience. ✔ Has experience in peer support, homelessness, mental health, addictions, or community services. ✔ Is passionate about social justice, whānau wellbeing, and creating lasting change. ✔ Values compassion, courage, respect, and integrity.
