Job Summary
The Procurement Indirect Officer at PT Japfa Food Indonesia is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for all indirect goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery to support the company's operations.
Job Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for various indirect goods and services, including but not limited to MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), IT services, marketing services, professional services, and office supplies.
Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Prepare and issue Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and other procurement documents.
Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to contractual agreements.
Manage supplier performance, including monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), resolving issues, and conducting regular reviews.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, IT, Marketing, HR) to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.
Prepare procurement reports and analyses for management.
Job Qualifications**
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, specifically with indirect categories.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Understanding of contract law and commercial terms.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
