Kardium’s mission is to deliver the best treatment for atrial fibrillation. To achieve this, we have developed The Globe® Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
We have obtained FDA approval and officially begun the commercial launch of the Globe® Pulsed Field System. This is a pivotal and exciting time in our journey, as we bring this life-changing technology to patients!
As an Engineering Project Manager at Kardium, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving the execution of engineering projects in a fast-paced, highly technical hardware development environment. You will work closely with directors, managers, team leads, and cross-functional contributors to develop project plans, maintain schedules, track deliverables, identify risks, and ensure project activities are completed on time. Lead the planning and execution of cross-functional engineering projects.
Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, resource forecasts, and dashboards that provide clear visibility into project health, risks, dependencies, and upcoming capacity needs.

Coordinate with directors, managers, technical leads, and cross-functional teams to align project activities, resolve blockers, and maintain progress against agreed schedules.
Prepare for project gate reviews and drive completion of gate review actions, ECOs, change control tasks, materialal requests, prototype builds, design verification activities, and process validation tasks.

Demonstrated ability to develop dashboards, project health reporting, milestone tracking, and resource forecasts that support proactive decision-making.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to influence without direct authority.
Ability to understand key technical concepts, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs and translate them into practical project plans and mitigation strategies.
A continuous improvement mindset with experience creating or improving project management templates, processes, frameworks, and best practices.
Strong time management skills with a sense of urgency, agility, transparency, respect, and collaboration.

8+ years of experience in high-tech, medical device, life sciences, or another highly regulated technical environment.
5+ years of experience leading complex engineering projects or programs involving cross-functional technical teams.
Experience in the design and development of complex medical devices, in vitro diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or electromechanical hardware products is preferred.
Formal project management training or certification, such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent practical experience, is an asset.
What We Offer:
Project execution impact: play a key role in helping engineering teams plan effectively, stay organized, manage risks, and deliver project milestones on schedule.
