As a Data Governance Manager,youwillbe instrumental in streamlining and managingthe governance processes andartefactsthat support thenetwork’sGlobal Controlled Vocabulary Service (GCVS).
You will collaborate with a variety of global stakeholders, including data domain ownersand SMEs, the GCVS operations and system product team, as well asrepresentatives fromglobalconsuming systems. Your role will involve championing the importance of global reference data across our network and coordinating efforts to improvedatastandardisationand data qualityfor downstream consumption.You willalsowork with the Enterprise Data Catalogue team to define requirements and workflows, supporting the transition to a more federated, domain-led governance model for global CVs.
Your work will require substantial stakeholder management,fosteringcollaborationand alignment across teams. In addition,you will have the opportunity to drive other datagovernance deliverables focused on domain-led data productstandardisationand ownership,in line with thenetwork’sdata and AI enablement strategy.
This role demandsstrong communicationskillsto effectively meet business needs and a keen attention to detail to ensurehigh standardsof dataquality and governance. Being a self-starter with the ability to navigate uncertainty and thrive in a fast-paced environment will be crucial.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and enhance governance processes tomaintainconsistent standards across a key global reference data service.
Improve data quality, streamline data adoption, andfacilitateinformed decision-making globally.
Drive stakeholder management and collaboration across various teams, including business teams, consuming system teams, and domain owners, to achieveorganisationalgoals.
Work closely with operations and product teams to outlinedata governancerequirements that supportcontinuous improvement, including collaboration with the Enterprise Data Catalogue team.
Orchestrate thereview of high-profile controlledvocabulariessuch as Global Product Codes and Industries.
Drive and manage strategic data governance initiatives focused on domain-led data productstandardisationand ownership.

Experience:
5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, ora relatedfield.
Bachelor's or master'sdegree in data science,business analytics,information systems, or computer science– or related subjects.
Familiarity with global data standards and reference data management approaches, as well as domain led governance and ownership.
Knowledgeof PwC networkorganisationand global system landscape is preferred (if internal).
