The Senior Molding Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and optimizing injection molding processes to ensure operational excellence. They provide technical support to the production floor, lead root-cause analysis, and mentor technical staff to maintain high yield and quality standards.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing and possess 3-5 years of experience in an industrial or medical device environment. Proficiency in scientific molding techniques, GMP/ISO 13485 standards, and bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish are required.

PURPOSE OF JOB
The Molding Engineer Sr. is in charge to develop, monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing all injection molding processes. Interacts with all departments to ensure the proper execution of all qualification activities and communicating effectively any requirement or help needed to keep the molding process up and running. Supports production activities by analyzing and following up machine performance, scrap data, tooling wear, among others, also by mentoring and training process, molding technicians and engineers, process technicians and molding operators in daily activities.
