The Laundry Technician is responsible for washing, folding, bagging, and delivering clean garments to designated warehouse areas. They must also maintain a clean work environment and ensure the proper removal and return of soiled laundry bags.
Candidates should have 6 months to 1 year of experience, though no specific education is required. Applicants must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and may be required to hold a valid driver's license or forklift certification.
The Laundry Technician will be responsible for washing, folding, bagging and delivering clean garments to their correct areas.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
Stop at risk behavior of others and self
Perform work assignments individually or in a team with other employees as required
Perform repetitive tasks
Maintain clean work area and remove soiled bags from assigned work areas
Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules
Take direction and respond to supervision
Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customer in a professional manner
Fill in during staff shortage
Wash, fold, bag and deliver clean garments to assigned warehouses
Removal and return of soiled bags for assigned work areas
Other duties as assigned
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job safely. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
No education requirement 6 months to 1-year experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
Completed all safety and task training certification.
May be required to be forklift certified.
Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
