The Service Advisor assists customers with repair needs, creates estimates, and assigns repair orders to technicians. They are responsible for ensuring quality of work, following warranty procedures, and maintaining an efficient shop environment.
Candidates should have a basic understanding of medium and heavy-duty truck systems and strong customer service skills. Experience as a shop foreman or diesel technician and familiarity with CDK or International/Cummins/Allison systems is preferred.

Day Shift: Wednesday thru Saturday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Salary: $50,000 - $75,000+ Incentive (Annual Shop Bonus)
Assist customers with their repair service needs by reporting vehicle issues and recommending needed repairs
Ability to create estimates
Assign repair orders (RO) to the trained technician who can complete the necessary repairs
Answer customer questions regarding their vehicle and handle any issues that arise in a timely manner
Ability to follow service department process and procedures including safety
Lead and support technicians and service manager
Ensure warranty procedures are followed correctly
Inspect and ensure quality of work prior to vehicle delivery
Communicate critical information across the service team
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment
Required Skills & Technical Expertise
Basic understanding of diagnostic and repair skills on medium and heavy duty trucks, including:
Ability and willingness to learn new vehicle systems and technologies
Ability to complete assigned training within required time frames
Stays current on industry changes and best practices
Experience as a shop foreman and/or diesel technician (heavy truck or Ag equipment) preferred, but not required
Demonstrates good communication and customer service skills
Demonstrates professionalism in the workplace
Demonstrates time management skills to keep up in a fast-paced environment
CDK experience preferred, but not required
Basic computer skills
Experience with International, Cummins, or Allison systems preferred, but not required
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Must pass a drug test, physical & background check
Must have a clean driving record
