The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records by verifying all inbound and outbound shipments. They also oversee associate training, monitor performance, and ensure defective or damaged products are properly accounted for in the warehouse management system.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of warehousing or inventory experience. A forklift operator certificate or the ability to complete training within 30 days is preferred.
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory by verifying all orders received and shipped Assigns work schedules, trains associates in processes and monitor’s associates’ progress Key Accountabilities / Primary Duties & Responsibilities Perform the duties of an inventory control clerk Conduct training for new associates Assist in physical inventories Monitor performance of associates within the work group Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates as required Ensure accurate accounting of and disposition of all defective or damaged product Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Friday to Sunday 5:00pm to 5:00am.
Pay 20.75+2.00 shift differential.
Role Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.
