Purpose of the Role:
The District Sales Manager is responsible for achieving the District’s sales and collection objectives by developing sales strategies, leading and maximizing the performance of the District Sales Force, and building strong relationships with clients and customers. The role ensures attainment of business targets, operational excellence, sustainable business growth, and high-quality customer service while driving the District’s overall performance and profitability.
What You'll Do:
• Develop and execute district sales strategies, plans, and initiatives to achieve revenue, sales, and collection targets.
• Lead, coach, and manage the District Sales Force, ensuring effective execution of business strategies and achievement of KPIs.
• Monitor team performance against targets and implement action plans to drive productivity and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, and trade partners to strengthen business partnerships and identify growth opportunities.
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients and key stakeholders to align strategic objectives and support mutual business goals.
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to develop value-added services and revenue-generating opportunities for clients and trade accounts.
• Analyze market trends, business opportunities, and industry developments to provide strategic recommendations to management and clients.
• Oversee district operational performance, including sales results, collections, accounts receivable management, and budget utilization.
• Drive talent development through training, coaching, counseling, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while supporting organizational projects and strategic initiatives.
What will make you successful:
Must-Have:
• Graduate of any four-year Bachelor’s Degree course.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sales Representative.
• Strong knowledge of Trade Management and Account Management.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team management capabilities.
Advantage to Have:
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, or related commercial sales environments.
• Proven track record in achieving sales, collection, and business growth targets.
