The Certified Dietary Manager oversees the food service program at a long-term care facility, ensuring high food quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This includes leading the food service team, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate financial and personnel records.
Candidates must hold a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification and are preferred to have an associate's degree in food service management and two years of supervisory experience. Additional certifications in Food Protection and Long-Term Care Food Service must be obtained shortly after hire.
