The Registered Respiratory Therapist implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. They also provide technical support for equipment and participate in the education of patients, staff, and physicians.
Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy and be eligible for RRT NBRC status. Required certifications include a Michigan State license, CRT registry, and BLS from AHA or ARC.

We utilize the latest technology and evidence-based practices to manage and treat a wide range of respiratory conditions, ensuring our patients receive the best possible outcomes. In response to the health care needs of a growing community, in 1977, Corewell opened a new 189-bed hospital on rural farmland in Troy. Today, Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital has grown to 530 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive array of health care services, continuing to develop to meet the needs of the growing communities it serves.
Under minimal direction, the Registered Respiratory Therapist: implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; assists with general department functions.
Required Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy
Eligible for position after attainment of RRT NBRC status. Required
