The Distribution Center Technician manages medical supplies and equipment to ensure continuity of patient care across the Carilion system. Responsibilities include inventory replenishment, picking and staging requisitions, and performing equipment deliveries.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Experience with medical supplies, inventory requisitioning, and order picking is preferred.
The Distribution Center Technician
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Experience handling medical supplies and equipment preferred. Experience with inventory requisitioning, stocking, and order picking preferred.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Valid Virginia driver’s license preferred with a positive driving record.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Excellent communication and computer skills. Ability to respond in crisis situations in a calm and collected manner. Ability to perform effectively in a continually changing environment.
