The Urgent Care Technician coordinates patient flow and assists providers with clinical procedures, including phlebotomy, splinting, and point-of-care testing. They are also responsible for maintaining clinical areas, cleaning equipment, and ensuring accurate patient data entry.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Medical Assistant program and hold a current Medical Assistant certification. Additionally, they must possess Basic Life Support certification and be capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting and pushing stretchers.
