WORK LOCATION: The address is 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093 WORK SCHEDULE: PRN Days; Ideally looking for a consistent schedule of the same day(s) weekly for outpatient hospital-based clinic support.
CARDIOVASCULAR PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
• Primary patient populations will be Structural Heart (TAVR) and Heart Failure. • Growing cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical programs • Primary Heart Attack Center • Vision to continue growth and development of our high acuity capabilities to care for all patients.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
BSN, Bachelor's Degree Graduate of an accredited nursing program Required. • MSN, Master's Degree Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program Required • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required • APRN - Advanced Practice Nurse Upon Hire Required • NP - Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required • 2 (Two) Years experience as a Nurse Practitioner • One (1) Years cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery patient experience strongly preferred • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Upon—prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support –Within 30 days of hire preferred
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO:
Utilizes principles and skills in communication and interviewing techniques in obtaining a comprehensive health history to formulate a plan of care and make decisions for appropriate therapeutic interventions. • Uses principles and skills in advanced health assessment for differentiating normal and abnormal findings. • Synthesizes knowledge of physiology, pathophysiology, culture, and socioeconomics to access, evaluate, and provide therapeutic interventions to patients. • Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to improve care processes in order to promote continuity of care • Initiates actions to meet patients/families
