The coordinator plans and organizes fitness programs to enhance the physical and emotional well-being of senior residents. Key duties include leading exercise classes, creating personalized wellness plans, and ensuring the safe operation of the fitness center.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, certifications in CPR, AED, and Group Exercise, and experience as an exercise instructor or personal trainer. A bachelor's degree in sports science and experience working with senior adults are preferred.
The Fitness and Wellness Coordinator is responsible for planning and organizing the fitness program to enhance the physical and emotional well-being of residents. Along with other members of the Lifestyle Department and community associates, the Wellness Coordinator delivers outstanding customer service and develops an enriching community program for the residents that integrate resident needs and interests into their daily routines.
