The technician is responsible for stripping, refinishing, and shampooing various floor surfaces to maintain cleanliness and repair. They must also handle emergency spill clean-ups and ensure all equipment is kept in good working order.
Candidates need a High School Diploma or GED, or one year of relevant experience, or completion of a specific EVS training program. The ability to follow written and verbal instructions and operate housekeeping equipment is essential.
In this role, you will maintain all types of floor areas through the process of stripping/refinishing hard surface floors and shampooing carpeted areas. This is a full-time role that will work 2nd shift - hours being 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The schedule does require rotating weekend and holiday coverage as well.
