The PET/CT technologist administers radioactive materials and operates imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures under the direction of a medical director. They are responsible for patient safety, image quality, and maintaining accurate medical records while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program and hold current ARRT-N or CNMT certification. The role requires up to 5 years of experience and the ability to work independently in a clinical imaging environment.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist as an ARRT-N or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board as a CNMT. Must maintain a current valid registration from either ARRT or CNMT. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.
