Requires a high school diploma or GED and either a CNA certification or six months of recent nursing assistant experience. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

The Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU) at Norman Regional Health System is a fast paced, critical care environment providing specialized, high-acuity care to patients with cardiac conditions, both pre- and post-procedure. In addition to caring for patients undergoing a wide range of cardiac procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), cardiac catheterization, pacemaker and Micra-pacemaker insertions, and cardiac ablation, we also care for patients hospitalized with a variety of cardiac diagnoses.

Norman Regional Health System is a multi-campus system that serves healthcare needs throughout south central Oklahoma. Our acute-care facility on the Porter Avenue Campus is licensed for 219 beds and offers a full range of services. Norman Regional Moore, is a state-of-the-art $32 million dollar healthcare facility in Moore, Oklahoma.
