The Unit Coordinator provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care and leads safety and quality initiatives within the Medical Specialties Unit. They are responsible for simplifying workflows, developing staff, and promoting excellent customer service standards.
Candidates must hold a BSN degree and a valid Virginia RN license with at least 18 months of nursing experience. BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire, and professional specialty nursing certification is preferred.

Shift: Weekend Nights (7p-7a) (Fri/Sat/Sun OR Sat/Sun/Mon)
Demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.
18 months nursing experience required. BSN required; Master degree preferred, if the graduate degree is not in nursing then the BSN is required. Meets any requirements defined by specific specialty.
BLS required within 90 days of hire. Professional Specialty Nursing Certification preferred.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $47.42 - $68.63 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
