Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments, including external beam and brachytherapy, to patients. Perform patient simulations and maintain accurate medical records while coordinating with physicians and support staff.
Requires an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology and ARRT Certification. Candidates must have at least 3 years of radiation therapy experience and meet specific clinical competency criteria.
Sign on Bonus up to $15,000 offered for qualified candidates.
Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist according to established practices and standards. Duties may include but are not limited to:
• Deliver external beam radiotherapy to include (3D, IMRT, SRS/SBRT)
• Deliver brachytherapy treatment
• Perform patient simulations; preparing equipment, such as immobilization, treatment, and protection devices
• Reviewing patient records for accuracy
• Acting as liaison with physician and supportive care personnel
• Maintaining patient records, reports, and files
Minimum of 3 years of experience and must meet 4 of the following criteria and have passed associated competencies to move from Radiation Therapist I:
