The Patient Financial Advocate screens patients at hospitals and ERs to determine eligibility for state, county, and federal assistance programs. They also assist patients with enrollment applications and maintain accurate documentation of all screening results.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be bilingual. Previous experience in medical billing, coding, or eligibility programs is preferred along with basic computer skills.
