The Director of Planned Giving is responsible for managing and implementing a comprehensive estate planning and gift program to drive philanthropic growth. This includes cultivating major donor relationships, providing legal and tax advisory for bequests, and overseeing the strategic development of planned giving initiatives.
Requires a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in planned giving at a large non-profit, with a preference for a J.D. or advanced degree in accounting or financial planning. Success in estate planning and major gift solicitation is required, and CFRE or CSPG certifications are preferred.

As the Director of Planned Giving, reporting to the ministry Executive Director Philanthropy, you'll be at the forefront of managing, planning, coordinating, and implementing a comprehensive estate planning and gift program. You will interpret and apply laws and regulations to all aspects of charitable giving, secure planned gifts, and broaden our philanthropic constituency through major/planned giving donor fundraising.
