The Scrub Assistant provides support to surgical patients under the guidance of an RN while maintaining a strictly aseptic environment. Additionally, the role involves assisting with the safe transport of patients within the hospital.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and obtain BCLS certification within the provisionary period. Previous experience as a Scrub Assistant is preferred, as is the successful completion of a Scrub Tech program.
