Pharmacists ensure the safe and effective use of medications by optimizing drug therapy outcomes and managing drug distribution. They are integrated into the continuum of care and provide education to patients and providers on best practices.
Candidates must hold a B.S. or PharmD in pharmacy and be licensed by the NC Board of Pharmacy by the start date. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire, with PGY1 and PGY2 in Critical Care preferred.

Pharmacists report directly to a designated Pharmacy Supervisor based on area of practice.
Minimum RequirementsB.S. or PharmD in pharmacy
0 years of relevant pharmacy experience (post-graduate)
Must be licensed as a pharmacist by the NC Board of Pharmacy by start date.
Maintains active NC pharmacy license and provides proof of renewal prior to December 31 annually.
American Heart Association BLS is required within 30 days of hire.
