The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide patient-centered care in a pediatric clinic by assisting with surgical procedures, measuring vital signs, and preparing exam rooms. They will also administer medications, manage medical supplies, and coordinate patient care through triage and communication.
Candidates must hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Florida or be eligible through the Nurse Licensure Compact. A minimum of one year of ambulatory or hospital experience is preferred, along with current BLS/CPR certification.
Help provide exceptional surgical care in a fast-paced Pediatric Specialty clinic where teamwork and outstanding patient care come first. This hands-on LPN role partners closely with RNs and providers during in-clinic surgical procedures while also supporting efficient clinic operations by rooming and triaging patients, as well as coordinating supplies. If you're a proactive, adaptable professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, you'll be supported with ongoing training and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on every patient's experience.
The Licensed Practical Nurse will focus on providing high level patient-centered care in a physician office setting by measuring and recording vital signs, placing patients in exam rooms, preparing patients for exams/procedures, assisting the health care provider with exams/procedures, providing patient support during exams, maintaining medical supply inventory, and stocking exam rooms. The LPN will also provide patient care by administering medications, processing patient phone calls per practice protocols, instructing patients regarding health care and treatments, and providing health care provider with information pertaining to patients' health status. May be required to float to other UFHP practices, as needed, for staffing.
