The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for implementing treatment plans, conducting patient screenings, and documenting progress to help residents regain independence. They coordinate care with families and other healthcare professionals while adapting treatments to meet individual patient needs.
Candidates must hold a valid state license to practice Physical Therapy and have successfully completed the National Certification Examination. Experience in long-term or geriatric care is preferred, along with strong empathy and communication skills.
