The role provides strategic financial leadership and business partnering to the International Commercial and Pandemic operations, overseeing a $1bn revenue portfolio. Responsibilities include managing financial planning and analysis, driving commercial strategy, and ensuring robust internal controls and audit compliance.
Candidates must have over 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a commercial finance role within the life sciences industry. A professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA is preferred, along with expert-level proficiency in Excel and SAP.
This role is part of the Commercial Finance Business Partnering team, focussed on supporting the CSL Seqirus operations across International and Pandemic and key business partner to the VP of Commercial Operations International.
The purpose of this role is to provide financial support to the regional commercial head across financial reporting and planning process but also strategic decision and projects. The size of the portfolio is approx. $1bn in Revenue and $100m in opex.
This role will also provide strategic financial support to the Head of Commercial International and Head of Global Commercial. This will involve reviewing business cases, assessing growth strategies, new markets (e.g. Middle East), as well as involvement in the Long-Range Planning (LRP) process. As part of this scope this role will support global commercial strategies.
Education Requirements
Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
