The Physician Assistant will evaluate and manage patients in a clinical setting while assisting surgeons during orthopaedic procedures. They will also participate in perioperative care, review imaging, and coordinate comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current NCCPA certification and Virginia licensure. Strong clinical assessment skills and a commitment to orthopaedic care are required, with experience preferred but not mandatory.

Anderson Orthopaedic Clinic is seeking a Physician Assistant to join the busy and growing practices of Dr. Sameer Nagda and Dr. Mihir Sheth. This is an outstanding opportunity for a PA who wants more than a traditional support role. You’ll work side-by-side with experienced orthopaedic surgeons, gain meaningful surgical and clinical experience, and have the autonomy to evaluate and manage your own patients.
Dr. Sameer Nagda is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and conditions of the shoulder, elbow, and knee, with particular expertise in shoulder replacement surgery. Dr. Mihir Sheth specializes in orthopaedic conditions of the shoulder through the elbow.
You won’t simply assist—you’ll become an integral part of the practice and the care patients receive from their first visit through recovery.

Requirements
Experience: Orthopaedic or surgical experience is a plus, but not required. Experienced PAs and motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
We’re looking for a PA who is engaged, dependable, clinically curious, and eager to learn. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships with patients, works well in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow into a trusted clinical partner with increasing autonomy and responsibility.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements: This position is based in clinical and surgical settings and requires the ability to perform the physical duties typically associated with the role of a Physician Assistant, including prolonged standing and assisting with patient care.
