Provide essential bedside care and clinical support for patients in the Complex Cardiovascular Unit, including monitoring vitals and assisting with surgical recovery. Maintain a safe patient environment through hourly rounds and meticulous documentation in electronic medical records.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross. A State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification or prior acute care/military medical experience is preferred.

The 4200 Complex Cardiovascular Unit serves a diverse population, with patients recovering from open-heart surgeries, amputations, lung operations, heart attacks and other critical medical concerns. As PCNA, you play an integral role in ensuring patients continue receiving the best treatment possible. You will find a welcoming and hands-on environment where caregivers encourage education, mutual support and teamwork. Each day, you have numerous opportunities to make a difference in your community and gain a wide variety of skills you can use in advanced positions or other departments.
A caregiver in this position works nights from 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. including every other weekend and 3 holidays per year.
