The Supervising Pharmacist serves as the Pharmacist in Charge for the Non-Commercial, Non-Dispensing Pharmacy, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. The role involves supervising staff, managing pharmacy licensure across multiple states, and providing clinical support to improve patient outcomes.
Requires a BS or PharmD degree and an active Texas pharmacy license, with 3-5 years of pharmacy experience and preferably 2+ years in leadership. Candidates must be able to obtain additional state licensures and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
The Supervising Pharmacist is an important part of the pharmacy operations that forms a key role in ensuring the effective and compliant operation of PRO-spectus’ Non-Commercial, Non-Dispensing Pharmacy (NCNDP). This role serves as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for the Non-Dispensing Pharmacy.
The Supervising Pharmacist will be required to pursue and obtain pharmacy licenses for states across the US.
This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory and operational efficiency regarding non-dispensing operations in the NCNDP. Additionally, the role engages in clinical and case management support to both improve patient outcomes and serve as a subject matter expert to assist in securing coverage for program patients. This position will involve supervision of immediate pharmacy staff, inventory, and successfully supporting technology solutions while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation to support superior patient care delivery. This positions will also serve as support for our dispensing pharmacy.
This is a fully onsite position in Addison, TX.
