As a Medical Assistant, you will work within a multidisciplinary trauma clinic to provide comprehensive care to patients who have suffered traumatic injuries. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical support services.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and have successfully completed a competency-based medical assistant training program. Additionally, applicants are required to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a recognized medical assistant certification within specified timeframes.
The Multidisciplinary Trauma Clinic is a comprehensive clinic that supports West Michigan only level one trauma center. Our clinic includes Burn, Orthopedic Trauma, Acute Care Surgery and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Our goal is to provide convenient and comprehensive care to patients who have suffered a traumatic injury. For convenience of the patient, we have the ability to offer multiple appointments with different trauma specialty providers in one location. We have a social worker, nurse navigation services, collaborative amputation clinic, and on-site x-ray services.
We are a very fast paced office. Teamwork is a must in our space where we all strive to deliver exceptional care to our patients who have been involved in a traumatic incident. Practice manager and supervisor strives to make it an environment where all team members feel safe, can have fun, and enjoy coming to work.

There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

High School Diploma or equivalent Required
Successful completion of a competency-based medical assistant training program Required
