The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing patient needs and developing individualized recovery plans to restore physical abilities and independence. They provide direct therapy and train both patients and caregivers on skills necessary for productivity and wellness.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy curriculum and initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. A valid and unencumbered state license for occupational therapy is also required.
