The CRNA provides high-quality anesthetic care to patients in collaboration with staff anesthesiologists across inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include managing anesthesia based on patient physiological responses and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Candidates must hold a master's degree in nursing from an accredited nurse anesthesia program and possess current Illinois APRN and RN licenses. Required certifications include NBCRNA, BLS, and ACLS.
The APRN-CRNA reflects the mission, vision, and values of NMHC, adheres to the organizations Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The ARPN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), in collaboration with staff anesthesiologists, provides high quality anesthetic care to patients in the inpatient and expanded outpatient facilities. The CRNA may also participate in research projects, the education of student registered nurse anesthetists, and leadership activities within the department and throughout the hospital.
