Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire. Previous healthcare or rehabilitation experience is preferred, along with the physical ability to perform functional requirements.

The Rehabilitation Technician reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Performs clerical, general, and/or patient care support functions within a Rehab department, under the direction of the Ortho and Rehab Services Department Leader. Assists licensed clinicians with the implementation of treatment plans under their direction and supervision. Responsible for general cleaning and organization of the environment of care. These tasks support services provided by the Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Psychologist, Speech Pathologist, Therapy Recreation, and/or Auditory Therapist.
