The Director of Financial Accounting manages daily accounting operations, financial close processes, and internal controls while leading a team of accounting professionals. This role also serves as a strategic liaison to executive leadership, governing boards, and external regulatory agencies to ensure fiscal compliance.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and possess at least 5 years of financial leadership experience within a health system or academic medical center. Proficiency in U.S. GAAP, GASB, and Oracle PeopleSoft Financials is required, with a CPA license being highly preferred.
